Service Description

Basics of Acrylic Painting; $80 for six weeks. Learn the foundations of painting with acrylic paints, both the pros and cons. Start with creating a color wheel and choosing what you’d like to paint. Students begin by blocking their photo onto canvas while learning about the visual path of their painting, perspective, light direction, symmetrical vs. asymmetrical, and varnishing. Most students complete a finished work of art, ready for framing, by the end of the course. Winter 2026 Session 1 Feb 5, 12, 26, Mar 5, 12, 19. Session 2 Apr 16, 23, 30, May 7, 14, 21.
